The Regional Sales School will begin interviews with young people in June

The Globalcaja HXXII Foundation launches the third Regional Sales School of Spain (ERV), a pioneering initiative to train young people, and offer them paid non-work internships, facilitating their integration into the labor market with the complicity of companies, and accompany them during all that way. The registration period for this initiative is currently open and will begin next July, while the selection interviews for the candidates will take place in June.

Thanks to co-financing from the European Social Fund, the Youth Employment Initiative and the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board through the Youth Employment Operational Program 2014-2020, the Foundation wants Castilian-La Mancha residents under 30 years of age to develop their commercial talent, get a degree that guarantees their level of English and enrich the business fabric of the region, gaining prominence in their own economic environment.

For the third edition of the ERV, a quality, useful, and practical training itinerary has been designed, which allows 60 young people to train for free with professors from the best business school in the commercial area, ESIC Business & Marketing School. This training is complemented by classes to improve English language skills. The students will obtain the degree for their participation in the Higher Commercial Technician Program, as well as the Cambridge Linguaskills accreditation at their level of competence.

The Regional Sales School has three locations designed to comprehensively train 20 students in each of the provinces in which it will be taught: Albacete, Ciudad Real and Cuenca.

The training phase will be complemented by a period of paid and tutored internships in different companies in Castilla-La Mancha. The companies will be able to welcome the students without incurring any cost, since the economic endowment of the practices is borne by the program. In this way, companies will see their commercial departments strengthened with the contributions of talented professionals who have the appropriate knowledge.

Direct channel between young people and companies

The Globalcaja HXXII Foundation wants the Regional Sales School to once again be a link between young people and companies in the region, as has already happened in the two previous editions. In them, 150 young people had the opportunity to train and carry out internships, and 47 of them finished the program with a job.

The training will be developed in a program of 508 hours, of which 208 hours will be academic training (120 face-to-face and 88 will be taught online) and 300 hours of practical training in companies During the internship period, the accompaniment of the students is special importance and for this reason the program contemplates tutoring by specialists in sales and commercial management. In addition, the Globalcaja HXXII Foundation will pay young people a support scholarship during the development of the internship for 100% of the monthly IPREM, which represents a gross amount of 579.02 euros per month.

The requirements to access it are: being under 30 years old, being registered in Castilla-La Mancha, having a Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, being unemployed or inactive, and being registered as jobseekers and in the National Youth Guarantee System.

In order to support those who need it most, in addition to free training and internships, travel aid has been enabled, and places have been reserved for young people at risk of exclusion or victims of gender violence.
